Q: Why should I choose Meta Therapy instead Needle Rollers, Meso Therapy or other treatments?

A: Meta Therapy combines all the advantages of the different treatments in one technique. The advantage of Meta Therapy compared to other treatments is that it not only activates cell regeneration, it also introduces the active ingredients into the skin during the treatment. What is more, the treatment is considerably more accurate and detailed. The micro-perforations allow for precise control in terms of depth (up to 0.3 to 0.5mm) and distance, and have a much greater density. The active ingredients are introduced during the treatment. Meta Therapy options also include special modules (cartridges) for the treatment of specific wrinkles. The added bonus of Meta Therapy is that the application of active ingredients is combined with the natural cell regeneration of the skin. The skin is painlessly treated with up to 1800 microscopic- sized shallow perforations per second. Thanks to the ultra-precise depth adjustment, Meta Therapy always reaches the right cell layers in the skin and never goes too deep.

Q: Why is the Meta Therapy Module critical to skin success?

A: Most micro-needling techniques for anti-ageing facial treatments use stainless steel needles that are too long and perforate the deeper skin layers into the dermis. Here there is a risk of irreparable subcutaneous damage, similar to the scar formation that occurs with second degree skin burns. With repeated treatments the skin typically becomes stiff and hardens due to loss of elasticity. The Meta Therapy module is designed for the optimal balance between stimulating the skin and minimises damage that could create subcutaneous scar tissue. Meta Therapy enhances the production of collagen and elastin without risk on the development of firm or hard inflexible skin. Meta Therapy is more effective, sustainable, safer and has no unwanted side effects with repeated applications in the short or long term.

Q: What about the recovery period of my skin and wearing make-up?

A: Meta Therapy allows you to enjoy the benefits and results of a combination of deep treatment methods. Other deep treatments require a considerable recovery period for your skin. After the treatment, the skin may show some redness, but this will reduce in a matter of hours. You will be able to get back to your daily activities immediately after the treatment and wear make-up the following day.

Q: Which areas may be treated with Meta Therapy?

A: You can opt for skin improvement and anti-aging of the whole face, neck and/or décolletage, as well as targeted treatments of specific areas and specific wrinkles. It is even possible to combine treatments to achieve the best result.

Q What are the treatment interval?

A: The treatment always starts with a course of 4 weekly treatments, followed by 4 treatments every 2 weeks, and afterwards, a periodical maintenance treatment to maintain the achieved result. The full facial treatment takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes. The wrinkle treatment takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

Q: What are the differences between a Needle Roller and Meta Therapy?

A: A needle roller is a cylinder with needles that is rolled over the skin. The face is not a flat surface but is rounded and curved. Therefore, not all needles of the roller penetrate the skin to the same depth. Another factor to consider is how hard the roller is pressed. When too much pressure is applied, the needles penetrate too deeply, which may result in scar tissue and skin rigidity. But if only light pressure is applied, the micro-perforations are too shallow to work properly. A needle roller also makes significantly fewer micro-perforations due to the limited number of needles. In addition, it is not possible to use it for the targeted treatment of specific wrinkles.

Q: What are the differences between Meso Therapy and Meta Therapy?

A: Meso Therapy is a procedure that requires only one needle. The perforations to allow the infusion of active ingredients are administered in specific areas, but the distance and depth of the injections cannot be controlled. Because of the larger distance and limited number of injections, Meso Therapy does not activate the natural cell regeneration of the skin. Neither does it activate the production of collagen and elastin.

Q: What are the differences between Micro Needling and Meta Therapy?

A: Micro-needling pens typically have an analogue drive. There are no corrections of the needle frequency caused by the resistance of the skin, which results in irregular perforations in different skin zones. Perforation density is also important. Micro- needling devices have needle tips with less needles (tips) which give a low density of perforations. The needles do not have needle guidance, so the needles have sideward fluctuations or even bend, which causes skin trauma. The micro- perforations are therefore very imprecise.
